(1) The office shall deduct six percent of the amount from the employee's monthly salary and add 100 percent of the amount to the fund on behalf of the Government of Nepal.
(2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), where an employee is on pay or extraordinary leave or is under suspension, no amount shall be credited to the fund during the period of such leave or suspension. However, if the charges against such an employee are not proven and the suspension is lifted, the office shall deduct from the amount of salary received by him and deposit the lump sum amount as per sub-section (1) of the suspension period into the fund.
(3) The fund shall regularly deposit the amount received from the office in accordance with this section to the employee's personal account within the specified period.
